

High School and ADHD: A Toxic Relationship
A 2011 study published in the Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology found that, compared to their non-ADHD peers, high school students diagnosed with ADHD received lower grades; took far fewer advanced level courses; failed significantly more classes; were rated as performing more poorly by teachers; had lower attendance rates; and were eight times more likely to drop out.
